About Me

I have worked in primary and middle schools as a teacher, deputy head and head teacher since 1987. I have successfully led 4 primary schools in West Yorkshire over a period of 19 years. These have been inner-city, village, CofE and multi-cultural schools.

I am a qualified teacher and have both the NPQH and the NPQEL qualifications, and as well as working with schools as a consultant and improvement partner, I also inspect schools for OFSTED.

I have supported a number of schools as an interim headteacher, consultant and improvement partner.

I have extensive experience of school governance, having been a parent, staff, Local Authority and headteacher governor in 7 different schools. I am trained to carry out external reviews of governance.

I enjoy travel and photography. Please visit my Gallery pages to see some of my images.
